Sales Administrator

Summary:

The Sales Administrator is responsible for processing sales orders timely and accurately to help ensure we maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Principle Responsibilities:

Sales Order Entry:

  • Confirming receipt of new orders, change orders, and customer pulls.
  • Verifying customer order details to sales quotes, company policies, and approved terms prior to accepting.
  • Entering new orders, change orders and customer pulls accurately and timely into ERP software, including all updates due to material delays.
  • Confirm sales orders match purchase orders and all domestic & international logistics details are properly added. Save all order backups on the company server to the appropriate directory.

Customer Support:

  • Communication with customers and co-workers regarding daily shipment details.
  • Responsive to customer and employee inquiries.
  • Responsive to customer issues and providing proper return material authorizations when needed.
  • Provide new customer forms and ensure all forms are completed fully prior to forwarding to finance for review.
  • Update customers on various statuses (delivery, inventory levels, etc.).
  • Create monthly sales reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge and Skill Required:

  • Excellent MS Office capabilities, especially Word and Excel.
  • ERP Software knowledge (Epicor/Kinetic a plus).
  • Ability to multitask and interact effectively and timely with all employees and executives in all functional areas as well as our customers.
  • Must work well in a team environment but be self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree or related work experience
  • 2+ years of related work experience in an office environment
